Now, as reported by BGR, Apple itself has patented a similar teknlogi more sophisticated for the iPhone. There are two kinds of tools are described in the patent numbered 8,636,369 and 8,639,109 it.
The first tool in the form of additional lenses that can be attached to your iPhone or iPad with magnets and a set of " alignment gap " so that the lens can sit in place correctly.
Mounting the lens on the iPhone is also equipped with electrical contacts to run the motor functions such as autofocus and image stabilizer.
The second tool involves a special back cover that comes with a variety of different lens options. Back cover that can be changed is mentioned only slightly thicker than the iPhone's standard cover. Inside the cover there are various subsystems such as camera lenses and sensors.
Technologies in the patent was first filed by Apple in 2010. Last week, the Office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark ( USPTO ) gives rights to those patents against Apple.
