Yahoo Prepare a Competitor of Google Now


Under the leadership of Marissa Mayer, Yahoo did a lot of changes, both in terms of appearance as well as corporate strategy. The latest move is to acquire Yahoo developer Incredible Labs.

Incredible Labs is a company that is behind the personal assistant application on iOS platform. The application named Donna.

In its official statement, Yahoo said that they and the Incredible Labs has the same vision that technology should be smart enough to think for themselves and for their users.

In part of the agreement, seven employees of Incredible Labs will join Yahoo, while one of the co -founders chose to make the application more interesting.

With the acquisition is carried out by Yahoo, so Donna could no longer be downloaded through the Apple Apps Store. Donna is an application that displays a variety of daily information, such as weather, traffic, and other tips are required daily, similar to Google apps Now, artificial competitor Yahoo.
